We take our Health & Safety responsibilities seriously at our premises and we have conducted a COVID-19 risk assessment which has been shared with our staff.
We welcome your visit to our school and in accordance with our risk assessment we have put the following measures in place to ensure the safety of our students, visitors and staff.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
We have reduced the number of students that attend our classes. We have also reconfigured the classrooms to accommodate this and to minimise movement around the school.
SANITISATION AND PROTECTION
Each student will receive a kit bag containing hand-sanitiser; gloves and a face mask for use during their course, and hand-sanitiser will be available at stations around the school. Each student will also be provided with their own tools and apron for the duration of their course as well. The school will be cleaned throughout the day and extensively cleaned at the end of every working day.
REQUISITE HAND WASHING
All staff and students will be required to wash their hands on entering the school building. Staff will also wash their hands often and rigorously throughout the day.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU FEEL UNWELL
As per NHS guidance: If you live alone or are staying in London by yourself, you should stay at home for 7 days from when you started to feel unwell. If you live with others or you are the first in the household to feel unwell, then you must stay at home for 7 days, but all other household members who remain well must stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days. The 14-day period starts from the day when the first person in the house became ill. Read further guidance about self-isolating on the Ontario and Canada Government website.
Please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing us at enquiries@septemberflowerschool.com if you have any further questions or concerns.
We look forward to welcoming you to SFS.
